I did this simple sketch a while ago as a warm-up. I have no intention of exploring it further, so I thought I would share. I am working on some more "refined" pieces that I will hopefully be able to post soon.

Came across this photo while digging through some old project files. I like the retro graininess. The photo really isn't that old, but definitely pre-digital.

Sketchbook

Most of my sketchbook work these days is the product of me in coffee shop/book store with my trusty Staedtler brush pen. Airports are good too. People tend to sit relatively still on layovers.

I feel like I often over work my paintings, so with this piece I tried to keep things a little rough while still being descriptive.

Flight

A little while ago I was watching Hulu and the Airforce had a commercial that showed a cockpit-eyes view of a Thunderbird in flight. I thought it was pretty cool, so I decided it might be a nice challenge to do a piece from a similar POV.
